CHRISTMAS AROUND THE WORLD
Annual Exhibit
The Museum of Science and Industry's beloved annual celebration features a four-story, floor-to-dome Grand Tree, surrounded by a forest of more than 50 trees and displays decorated by volunteers to represent the holiday traditions from cultures around the globe. Angela was a part of six different holiday exhibits during her time at the Museum. The holiday season is one of the busiest times at the Museum, and Angela was involved directly in strategic communications to guests to help the successfully plan their day at MSI.

STRATEGIC PLANNING
Since this is an annual exhibition, most of the copy and content year to year is reused. For 2016's exhibition, Angela led the team in a strategy workshop to ideate on new content and content—focusing on capturing the essence of this holiday . As a part of this process, Angela selected stunning images of guests enjoying the exhibition for inspiration and she led the writers through exercises to determine how new words and experiences should be used to highlight 2016's Christmas Around the World.
After this session, Angela designed a series of themed enewsletters and she produced a webpage highlighting holiday visit tips. Additionally, she designed a custom Holiday Weekend Checklist graphic for use on the landing page and in enewsletters. She also leveraged the advertising creative to design a custom enewsletter for the general audience.

In addition to all the digital projects Angela produced during Christmas Around the World and Holidays of Light, she also wrote the Museum's holiday card for members, donors, corporate sponsors and friends.. The card pictured was produced using gold foil and premium paper.

In 2017, MSI celebrated the 75th Anniversary of our annual holiday exhibit, Christmas Around the World and Holidays of Light. To mark this occasion, Angela wrote a letter from our CEO and a commemorative message in the Holiday Exhibit Guide that also includes the tree map and performance schedule. Angela produced this multi-paged, printed exhibit guide in liasion with a graphic designer and exhibit organizers for up-to-date performance and tree locations.
